Assalamu'alaikum wr wb.

What have I've been up to these past few months?

First, let me introduce to you my wonderful team.

My third Exco team of 09/10. Great people. Diversity. We've been together for half a year now. Another six months to go. Although much could be improved, I'm still glad and am very thankful that Allah had gathered us to hold this responsibilty together, we're short by one though, and another two advisors didnt make it in the picture. In need of your prayers. Thank you.

And these, are my friends, picture taken during our Maulidurrasul s.a.w. event. :)
They've all been great too. Thank you for the help and support.

So many things has been going on since the past few months...

There was a time where I had to fight with myself and accept this responsibilty with an open heart. There was a time when I had to strengthen and maintain this bond and lead leaders. There was a time when we had to crack our brains and drain our energy for 2 whole days to plan out and discuss for our future. And there was a time when each and everyone of us felt so low...

Yes, so much indeed. But I was never exhausted, at least not solely by this responsibilities. It was tiring, but so much have been gained. Knowing that I'm in this together with them, at least one if not all, that thought kept me moved..

We've detailed our long-term planning of four year plan (4yp), went to Alexandria to meet our counterparts, form departments and units, help out each of them where we can, organised visits from Ustz TM Fouzy & Fatris, Aljunied's Asatizah & Muis, meet up Mr Ambassador, other administrative and technicalities, I myself involve as a member of Academic Unit & Ekoniaga Committee, Maulid's too, we've done our appointment and opening ceremony, proposed for a $5000 grant from Muis, still planning for our appreciation/graduation day. Not forgetting our upcoming first year Orientation Programme, Summer Programme, Ramadhan/Raya Programme, Graduation Ceremony with the Singapore Embassy, and finally our last Annual Grand Meeting. (Oh, and above all, MY FINAL & LAST EXAM.)

It seems like we've done so much. But really, there's so much more to be done. So much more that we've failed to do. Dear Allah, forgive us for our weaknesses in handling this responsibility. Help us and give us the strength we need. For we are really in need of You..

Went to Darul Ifta' organized by Ta'lim, it was something different, like having an excursion during school days. We learnt alot, on issuing fatwas, its conditions and all. Graduates from Al-Azhar can even continue his course here. Check it out.

We invited PMRAM's Exco to our Briyani Amal & Mini Bazaar. It's our first time since years ago. A way to reconnect our long distant and tighten up our silarurrahim bond. Check them out.

We have Ust. Fatris as our guest. It's quite important to have such a guest once in a while. Their views and experiences can be an eye opener for all of us.

This is my lecture time table, 4th year, Faculty of Islamic Law, Al-Azhar University.

Sat: Qodoya Fiqh Mu'asoroh, Usul Fiqh Maudhu'i, Qodoya Fiqh Mu'asoroh

Sun: Fiqh Muqaaran, Usul Fiqh Nossi, Qodoya Fiqh Mu'asoroh

Mon: Free, Bahath Qodoya Fiqh Mu'asoroh, Fiqh Muqaaran

Tue: Fiqh Maudhu'i, Fiqh Nossi, Free

I'm telling you, Sat & Sun is the most tiring day ever. It puts our stamina and focus to the test.

This is where I took my first term exams and my final term too insyaAllah. Very nice isn't it?

This is how the lecture view looks like if you sit far behind.

First time went to the foreign students hostel. The compound is quite huge.

Khat Exhibition @ the Embassy of Hungry

That's one part of the story. Alhamdulillah.

On the contrary, these past few months I've been having trouble with those whom I close with and are dear to me. All of them. The experience wasnt nice at all. It drags me down constantly and affect my focus. I doubt everything will be fine soon, because feelings are too complicated. Once scratched, it would leave a parmanent scar, forever... And this is bad.

I've been having a sort of headache these past few days. Felt so heavy. Pray for me k. Thanks.
