Last night, in one of the mosque in Singapore, I attended an interview made by four Mosque Management Board for Dakwah Executive position...

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. I would like to see something different, tell me what kind of unique event/program will you be able to organize for the mosque?
3. After your graduation, were there any job offered to you?
4. Besides the current dakwah approach, what type of approach do you think we should try and focus?
5. You were the President of Perkemas, specifically what was your role?
6. Have you ever work in other places besides dakwah?
7. I do not see your father stated here in your application form, why? Is your mother working?
8. I can see that you were very active in many organisations, can you share with us one event where you think it was unsuccessful?
9. Can you share with us one very challenging event you organized, what did you do and how did you handle such situation?
10. What would be your approach in delivering dakwah to the middle aged group (mid 30's)?
11. Here in mosque we might have to work outside the normal office hour, are you comfortable with that?
12. Are you planning on getting married soon?
13. How do you come to work?
14. You did not state your expected salary, why and what would it be?
15. Do you know how the mosque system work and who is the Mosque Management Board?
16. Are you the type who would go to the jemaah and build connections or do you prefer to sit in an office and do all the dakwah planning? Give your response.
17. We are going to place you as an Imam to lead the Prayers, be a khatib, etc, are you okay with it?
18. Do you have any question to ask?
19. When will you be able to start? (jokingly, I have actually started a month ago as a temp.)

I was expecting more challenging questions, but alhamdulillah, everything went well. They were delighted. Thanks for your prayers. =)
