4th maarad

Salam,

I love today. 4th day to maarad. Coz today, I manage to get most of the book in my list!

More of Gulen's book, but I still want 2 more of his book, out of stock plak.

others...

Kitab lughah...

Usually I buy recommended books by someone or through the book review on the internet. Da over budget! I've overspent by 8% of my actual budget. Huhu. Nasib tk melampau.

Bought 38 books so far, for less then SG$280. Average about $7.40 per book. Cheap kan? kan kan? I don't think anyone can get all these good books selling at this price elsewhere.

"Macam paham je beli buku byk2, entah baca ke tidak..." the things is, I've realised just how very important it is to have good books at home. U know, I wasnt raised like other families. When I was a young boy, I've never had an interest for reading, and there was no role model that I could follow. I am not blaming anyone, as the one who raised me was my mom, and she was my dad too at the same time. Can you understand the burden she had to carry? Although I've missed so much that others didnt, she've shown and influenced me one big thing that no one else had, that is, how to be strong and stay strong. MasyaAllah. Alhamdulillah. Oh man! I miss my mom! huwek. Lari sey bobal.

The point is, I've MISSED ALOT! SO MUCH! In terms of language, knowledge and critical thinking skills. All these can be obtain at young age if parents can manage to make their kids to love reading. So since I've realised that now, more reason to buy more books! Faham tak?

Other reason is that during my Pre-U years @ MWTI, one of the ust gave us an advice, and that is the one and only advice I took from him and remembered it very well. Heheheh. "Dulu masa ana blaja kat riyadh, bapak ana (mudir) pesan.. beli je buku banyak2.. baca ke tak, tolak tepi, satu masa nnt kte akan pakai. and btol lah ape bapak ana ckp, skrg ni ana senang nak rujuk2 kalau ade masalah.." And since then I've been buying books from my first year here in Cairo. :)

Another ust, one of the excellent, an ex-azharian came here accompany some Singapore ministers advice us.. "jangan beli buku2 lama yg byk2 mujallad tu, tu semua buku murajaah byk da ade... ust2 lama pun beli2 buku2 mcm tu skrg tk pakai buat perhiasan kat rumah. Lagipun buku2 tu senang dpt dekat softcopy.. byk software da ade. Cari buku yg satu2, yg bagus2. Buku2 yg western, org putih buat tu semua sebenarnya byk dekat buku2 arab ade." Hmm, so that's why I guess I didnt spent on any reference book..

I think I've bought more than 150 books (including mujallad/volumes) since my 1st year! Bile nak baca? Buku kuliah pun merangkak2! ermmm, dabes skolah pun bole pe. Da pencen keje pun insyaAllah byk masa. Anak cucu pun bole baca. Heh. Besides, it's super cheap here! More reason to buy!

Da lah, I think you can get the point already. Da panjang and no mood to continue. Good bye. Doakan dipermudahkan segala urusanku k. Thank you.
